Losing Word document format

A

Alan Miller

I am having an intermittent problem when sending Word
documents using Outlook 2000 (SR1).

If I attach a Word document and send to a colleague
internally on our Exchange, it will occaisionally corrupt
the paragraph numbering. No.1 will become No.2 etc... and
it will lose the No.1.

The problem will occur if I send to different users. The
address used are from the Global Address List and there is
no entry in a Personal Address Book, it's not setup.

I have re-installed Outlook onto the PC.

Any assistant would be appreciated.

Any macro's in the document that the virsscanner of the Exchange server can
remove? Is the document saved first or opened directly from Outlook. Saving
it first is the best method to test whether the document really is corrupted
or that a cached file is the cause of the problem.
