Loss Data in Shared Worksheet Enviroment

Hello everybody,

I had been using the shared worksheet for information
with 3 other users for past 2 years without any data
loss. However, recently I have a user that keep getting
back to me saying that what ever she update disappear
even she saved it.

Initial investigation found that if someone remove her
from the worksheet, her update will be ignored. However,
no one "remove" her. Does excel automatically remove a
user??

Can anybody advice me what could be happening? BTW, we
are using microsoft office 2000

in my experience Shared workbooks are not a very stable feature of
Excel. So I would assume this is one of the 'bugs' within this feature
(no workaround besides not using shared workbooks)
