I replaced main drive and kept old main as secondary. I installed ms office
on new main and all message folders and archives can no longer be found on
secondary drive. Are they hidden somewhere or deleted?

Yes, hidden. Look for a file whose extension is ".pst" in the folder
D:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook, where "D" is the drive letter of your old drive.

Correct, but these instructions were also meant for the original poster
which was recovering from a disk that contained Windows XP.
If you're using Vista, take a look in this directory instead;
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

These are default locations for XP. VISTA defaults are diffferent.

Sure, but the person to whom I was responding was using XP, so mny answer was
appropriate to them. Additionally, while Vista's natiove paths are different,
the junction points remain and the XP path should work.
