Loss of MS Document Imaging printer driver with MS Office 2003 SP1

Am running MS Windows XP Pro and MS Office 2003 Pro.
I frequently use MS Document Imaging .print driver to print .mdi files from
various programs. Then use MS Document Imaging to copy_image/paste into
Office programs.
After installation of MS Office 2003 Service Pack 1, the MS Document Imager
print driver disappeared, and Document Imaging disappeared from MS Office
Tools.
I tried running the repair utility from the original Office 2003 Pro
installation CDs, but it did not restore Document Imaging printer driver.
Any suggestions appreciated.
