Lost ä-letter

I lost ä-letter in my word program. My language is finish and I need
it very often. I am writer and teacher. If I write in finish language
'minä olen täällä' engl. 'I am here' it seems like that 'min olen
tll', and it's an catastrophe. How I can get the ä-letter back. I am
already install Office 2004 again, but no help. Please help me.

I think you have a faulty keyboard. Replace your keyboard and try again.

If you are using a laptop computer, plug a USB keyboard in and try that: I
think the letter a key on your keyboard is not working.

Please remember for next time: re-installing never fixes anything on a
Macintosh: the files that get damaged do not get re-installed.
