I have been using Outlook 2003 (SP1) for about 6months connecting my laptop
through a wireless network to broadband internet. Occasionally I have also
use LAN connections, but on 14th July I switched to dial-up while on holiday
and ever since Outlook e-mails will not show images. This is NOT the "Option
- security setting - download pictures" I have always had this set to Don't
download, but permit safe senders" and changing these options does not
help...!
I have tried all the Outlook settings I could think of to no avail, I am now
wondering whether this is a new XP update or a firewall update i was not
aware of, but it seems an incredible co-incidence that is happened after I
started using a dial-up connection....but why won't it revert to normal now?
I know it is not a problem with the mails themselves - they work perfectly OK
when I use my ISP's webmail to view them.
