hello!
after downloading the Mac osx leopard everything was ok and now after one week i lost all my contacts from entourage all email adress , all my mails and the version is changed ...I tried to import the datas to get everything back but i cannot select it when i push on import!!
not a really clear description of my problem but i don t understand my self what happenend because everything was ok !!! thank you already for your help!

Moc OS X Leopard is not available for download.

It must be purchased from Apple as a physical disk

OK, that's different. In that case, I do feel inclined to try and help

If you have moved you 'Microsoft User Data' folder out of your documents
folder, Entourage will create a new, empty identity.

do a search for 'Microsoft User Data' and see if you can find another
folder (the identity in the Documents folder will probably have a
database of around 18-23Mb in size - this is a normal empty database)

If you find one, move it back into the MUD and restart all office apps.
See if that helps.

could get entourage back but not my mails!!!!i guess i lost them all for ever!!!!!!!damn!!!tomorrow i satrt to back up everything!!!!

Simply move them back to the Documents --> Microsoft User Data folder.

If you have not used a new identity in Entourage, then copy the entire
Microsoft User Data folder to the correct location.

Fix if you have more than one Microsoft User Data Folder...

Move the entire identity folder you want to use to the Office Identities
folder that Entourage is recognizing. Your identity is named "Main" by
default. Be sure to rename one so you do not overwrite. Your identity folder
can contain more than one identity. Switch Identities to view your old mail.
If you have not used the new identity, delete it. If you have used it and
want to combine the new mail with your original database, drag each folder
to the desktop from one identity. This creates an MBOX file. Switch
identities. Drag the MBOX files into the folder window of Entourage.

You can delete the old folder after you are satisfied with the transfer.

thank you for helping!!!i just received a mail from my mail server that a virus was sent !!!that deletes all mails etc !!!
so there is no way to take them back!!!!but ok!!!
like you said world has not ended!!!just that i lost so many contacts!!!
still i m gonna try what you said!!! ll let you know!!!
