lost application

Is there any way to recover or download a replacement copy of Publisher2003?
My computer recently had a complete melt down and my programs were only
partially recoverable. I have all the Office 2003 applications I had
previously except for Publisher. My software came with the computer so I
have no installation disks.

Something strange here. If you paid for a FULL version of Office when you
bought your computer then the Vendor should have given you the installation
disk.

No, particularly if Office was supplied with the PC and preinstalled

And if you were able to recover Office, without the cd's your PC could
hardly have had a complete meltdown

If you had the disks and have since lost them, then unfortunately you have
just learned an expensive lesson. Because it's OEM, Microsoft cannot help
you.

It seems like most people treat $400 Office disks with less care than than
do those of their favorite musician's latest release.

Won't work - OP said it was OEM. Microsoft will not help anyone with OEM
software.

How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and
product upgrades, and replace product manuals

They very well may have but that was 4 years and 2 moves ago.

That is covered in that document also. (also Microsoft will do certain
things with regard to OEMs that have gone out of business)
