Lost Audio after converting to pps

I have a .ppt file that plays an audio track beautifully. I've times out the
whole show to it, but when I saved it as a .pps the audio track vanished.

Any suggestions?

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? When you saved it as a .pps file Did you play it on a different computer than the one it was created on? What format was the audio track?

Office XP, and yes I emailed it to myself at work and it was a silent movie.

I imported an mp3 file.

Thanks, I will take this home and play with it. I'll get back with the
results.
