Lost Business Contacts History

I recently lost my Business Contacts information. I was able to restore the
Contacts by synchronizing with my Blackjack phone but I lost the History.
Can I get the History back?

If you had a backup of the database then you would be able to get the history

How are the contacts lost? Did the database disapeer? Did the history
grid in a Contact show up with zero records or does the history grid
not show up at all?
