Lost contacts and emails

Can anyone help me ? My pc recently broke down and i have
got a new one from a friend and installed all my new stuff
on it. I want to know if i can transfer my old emails and
contact lists to my new pc outlook folder. i can only
acces the old hard drive if i use it as a slave on the new
pc and can access all the folders and files. Is there any
way to copy them from the old hard drive to the new one as
i cant actually run the old outlook.

Easily. Just look for your Outlook Data file and configure your new
installation to use it. Specific instructions depend on your Outlook version
which you failed to mention. Read up on it yourself.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
