lost contacts on new hard drive

After having a new hard drive installed All of my data files transfere
ok, but I had to install each program to access the data. I canno
find my Outlook contacts so that I can open them. I searched the driv
with *.pst and found six Outlook folders that are Office Data files.
Three of these are large enough to be the contacts files. When I tr
to open any of these folders I get a warning that these files are use
by the operating system. To open these folders requires selecting a
"open with" program.

So, my question is, am I using the correct extension for the search an
is so what to do to open these folders

How are you opening them? You cannot double click PST files. Open them in
Outlook.
