Lost? Contacts

My "techie" group at the office inadvertently lost my .pst file while
attempting to fix a problem unrelated to Outlook. All attempts to recover
the file have been unsuccessful. After I got restarted when I start to type
an e-mail address the complete list of "matching" addresses appear - where
are they hiding on the machine? Any help would be appreciated....

Not that I know of. An NK2 file cannot be edited or saved as a CSV file.

Is there a way to get them into the address book?

The entries are most likely in your autoname completion cache
(<profilename>NK2 file).
