lost control of my keyboard

Hi,

This afternoon when i launched MS-Word it showed the "voice
recognition" thing asking me to adjust my microphone etc. and i
clicked "cancel". Then, my "file" menu was pulled-down
automatically... i never clicked on it neither did i hit alt-F. Fine,
later when i tried to open a document, before i had a chance to type
something, this magic things appear: a few blue box with a black dot
appear as if i typed them using my keyboard, then some junks appear:
"some of the government force you from value of a sudden...." and it
keeps typing and typing as if someone was sitting in front of my
notebook and typed those words...

HELP!!! is this haunted??!!??



btw,
i'm using windows xp home edition with office xp pro....

Hi Arnold,

This seems to be most likely someone operating your computer from
somewhere else. I think that you might have some sort of a Trojan
Horse on your pc. Run a full system check at
http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/home.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym&close_parent=true
Always use some sort of anti-virsus software and keep it up to date.
Also, check www.windowsupdate.com regurlarly to keep in touch with the
lates security patches and update.

Hi Onno,

thanks for the reply... For your information, the pc is connected to
internet thru a diva LAN modem (once in a while) and the notebook is
disconnected from the network when the odd behaviour occured.

I'll try some trojan detector as you advised.
