Lost email after compression. OE 5

Hello. I have the tragedy occurred. Today outlook express 5 has requested compression message bases. I accepted. Then all messages were gone. What does it mean? Where to look for to me my messages? Help! I very need mail.

Windows 7, Outlook Express 5.
