Lost email after Outllook 2007 upgrade

I installed the Office 2007 suite. Immediately I started having all sorts of
problems: crashes, etc. So I uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003. Now
Outlook 2003 does not work properly anymore. I cannot recreate my IMAP and
HOTMAIL accounts. I cannot add a profile or anything. What can I do?

use system restore to revert to before you installed the beta and reinstall
office.

also - did you uninstall office 2003 and reboot before installing the beta?
Since it's beta software, the extra step often results in a more stable
environment.

Unfortunately there are no restore points available before I installed the
beta. The problem was that I had to make so many registry modifications to
get the Beta folders search to install that it used up all of my system
restore space.

I did not uninstall the Office 2003 before installing the beta. It
"upgraded" my existing installation. Outlook keeps telling me it cannot
create a mail database. What can I do?
