Lost email and Address Book

I opened Entourage and opened as if it was re-installed. The welcome screen and setup assistant came up. Everything is gone. The only recent thing I have done is update a printer driver. I'm at a loss as to what has happened and sick over the thought of losing everything. I have not done a backup. Is it possible that there could be some kind of file stored on my hard drive with my addresses and email?

Yes, that's how Entourage works. Your information is saved in the
Documents folder inside the Microsoft User Data folder. Check to see if
it's still there or if, perhaps, it has been inadvertently moved.

Thank you so much, I had the same problem and your advice fixed it! I
am running the newest OS X with the newest Entourage.
