I
downloaded IE6 from the Microsoft site as an upgrade (my
first) to my
Windows 98 system. When I restarted, found that my Outlook
Express had been
updated, and all my emails going back to 1999, some of
them of great
sentimental value, had been wiped. There's nothing in my
recycle bin. How do I restore them - I have found a lot of
promising folders
in C:\Program Files\Virgin
Net\Users\[email protected]\Outlook Express,
dbx files and idx files, and hope that my missing folders
are among them.
How can I restore all my material? I feel like someone's
broken into my
house and nicked all my personal documents.
