Lost Entourage updates after crash

I have a Mac G4 powerbook running OS 10.4.8 I have Entourage (10.3.2)
and Word (11.3) installed from Office 2004.

The problem: my computer crashed recently and Apple installed a new
logic board. Everything works fine as before the crash EXCEPT my
Entourage which seems to have lost some updates. The key function I'm
missing--and it's a great one--is the ability to have emails come up in
my Spotlight searches. I have tried to go online to get updates but
they won't install, which makes me think I need some earlier updates to
enable the one that enables the Spotlight searches. Or...maybe the
updates are in my computer somewhere but are not working (???). Anyone
have any ideas on this? Thanks.

Spotlight indexing was introduced with the 11.2.3 update, so if you have
11.3.2, it should already be there. Have you made sure to enable it in
Entourage's preferences (Entourage>Preferences, Spotlight)? If yes, see if
you can reapply the 11.3 update, which was a combo updater (you can download
it manually from Mactopia <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/>. If that doesn't
work, there might be something wrong with the way Entourage caches the files
that get read by Spotlight, so post back if you still cannot get it to work
properly.
