lost files crashed hard drive

My computer crashed and lost all my fp 2003 for 3 websites. I am using
Windows Xp home edition. No files were able to be saved from the old hard
drive. I have reloaded fp 2003 to the new computer, but no files or anything
is left from the original files that were used to make the websites. I know
I can publish from the remote to my computer(local), but I will not be able
to publish updates to the websites because the server will see the local
files as a remote site. How do I get around this, so that I may be able to
do the necessary maintenance on the websites?

Hi Johnny,

Publish from the remote site to your PC then you can close FP and open the site on your PC to make updates etc. Publish the update
to the remote.
