I'm using a Groove 2007 Standard Workspace to share numerous files with
several users in other locations. I recently had to restore my C drive from
an image made a week ago. After doing that, though, I seem to be missing
several folders that I'd placed in a Standard Workspace several days earlier
(but after I'd made the snapshot of the C drive).
I'm guessing that I lost those folders when I reinstalled the disk from the
image, since I made the drive image a few days before I put those folders in
the Standard Workspace. If the local copy of the files and folders in
workspace resides somewhere on my C drive, then they would not have been part
of the image I'd made. Does that make sense? I just don't know where the
local copies of documents residing in a standard workspace sit. I know
they're somewhere on my machine, because I can work offline and still open a
copy of a document from the workspace.
So here's the critical question: Is it possible to specify where local
copies of Groove Standard Workspaces reside? I keep all my non-OS and
non-App files on my D drive just in case I have to restore the C drive from
an image, and I'd like to keep the local workspace files on the D drive if I
could. Any idea where those files reside and whether I can specify that they
should be stored on the D drive?
TIA,
Mark
