Lost fonts

[Lost Font]

My operating system is XP and I am an Office 2003 user. I like the font
"Arial Narrow," and it's been missing for several weeks. How do I get it
back? I have looked everywhere since then and can't find "Arial Narrow." What
could have happened? How was that one font removed from the system?

Download TweakUI, it has a font folder repair utility.

Unfortunatly, the Microsoft Typography link offers info on fonts but does not
allow me to download any fonts and I don't have the MS Typography program on
disk. TweakUI is a useful utility but does not correct my missing font issue.

Are other fonts missing, too? A couple of things to check:

1. Make sure that a printer is installed on your system. If it's not, the
Office, being WYSIWYG, won't show you fonts it's not sure are there.

2. Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel to see if Office 2003 fonts
are missing (Start - Settings - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs -
Microsoft Office 2003 - Change - Add or Remove Features - Choose Advanced
customization of applications - Next - Office Shared Features - Fonts.
