pop Hi. I had to reinstall my software due to my computer being frozen after
an itunes update.. Anyway, I had no choice.
My entourage info is GONE.. all my mail, all my addresses etc. This was on my
desktop Mac. I also have a macbook, with the same entourage account info etc.

Re-install/updating should not delete your data, but some times things just
go boink. From your description, I would be sure to run Disk Utility to
verify your drive and run Repair Permissions. Be sure to check the trash.

Normally, when your data goes missing it¹s user error however, other things
can cause it to disappear.

See the solutions here to find your data:

You can copy over your Main Identity from the other computer, if you don't
find your Identity.

As far as some mail is on desktop and some on laptop, it's the way you have
your POP account set up. Read the description of POP and IMAP accounts here:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/glossary/pop_imap.html>

I suggest changing to IMAP so both computers have the same mail and
settings.
