Lost insert picture from file option?

Hi Everyone

This hasn¹t happened before ­ hope I am not the only one ...

There is no option in the insert -> picture scenario to select ³from file².

Clip art option is there and the other below the line ­ but ³from file² has
disappeared. Any ideas?

Hi

Try this:

From the Tools menu choose Customize.

In the dialog box select the Insert menu then click the Reset button. Click
OK to close the dialog box.

Did that fix it?

Yep! Thank you Jim!

It has never happened before though - is it a new glitch in the program
(obviously known to others, based upon your knowing solution), or I have
just been lucky all this time I have had PPT X?

Hi

Every time you close an office application the current state of the toolbars
is resaved. Sometimes the saved file gets corrupted (any file can be
corrupted while it is being written). It's rare. Don't worry about it.
