Lost messages in Personal Folders - Outlook 2007

Hi,

I was recently looking for old e-mail messages that I moved off my e-mail
server over the past year and into various Outlook personal folders saved on
my local machine. The folders are there but most of the messages are gone. I
do not have AutoArchive activated. When I look in
AppData/Local/Microsoft/Outlook I can see one 'archived_mail.pst' file from
last March so this does not explain their disappearance since I moved files
more recently than March.

Any suggestions?
