Lost microsoft office during windows 7 install.

I have upgraded my laptop from vista to 7. Before I upgraded I reset my
computer back to its factory settings. When I completed my installation of 7
microsoft office was no longer on the laptop. The version of microsoft office
that I had was installed when I originally purchased the laptop and I do not
have the disks. I did write down the activiation key that is displayed during
start up. Can I recover/download microsoft office and use the activiation key
I have?

You will need to contact the original vendor that supplied office and see if
they can give you a replacement.
