Lost MS Office 2007 Shortcut Folder from desktop

Terry2009

After installing Office 2007 Upgrade --Standard Edtion on a new HP Pavillion
laptop (using Windows Vista Ultimate) I inadvertently deleted a shortcut
folder that I had placed on my desktop. It had all of the program shortcuts
in it. Now it is not even showing up on the list of programs listed from the
Start menu. I have a separate desktop for my husband on this laptop and the
shortcut to Micosoft Office 2007 is on that desktop.

I can't seem to recreate that folder shortcut. Would re-installing Office
2007 on this laptop resolve the problem and not mess up the e-mail settings
for Outlook 2007 that I just finished setting up?

Thanks for your help.

First see if it's still in your Recycle Bin. If it's not then copy the
shortcut folder from your husband's profile to a shared location on the
laptop (create a new folder under the drive C:\ if necessary) and then move
it to your profile.

If you do not know how to create a folder or copy a file then you may want
to post in a Windows newsgroup as this group is for questions on the Office
applications. :)
