Lost my birthdays

Neil

Having just changed time zones, I've had to delete all my calendar
entries as they were spanning two days. I've put the holidays back but
can't find a way to reinsert my relatives' birthdays.

Anyone know what to do as I can't even find the word birthday in Help?

Cheers.

Assuming you are using Outlook Calendar all appointments,
holidays, events, and birthdays are added in the same
manner. In the calendar folder, click the "New" button to
add a new event. From here, enter your preferred
information in the given fields
(i.e "Subject", "Location", etc>), select the time, and
optionally create a reminder for this event by checking
the "Reminder" radio button and selecting the amount of
time prior to the event in the pulldown menu. For a
birthday you would put something like "Mom's Birthday" in
the subject field, enter the date of the birthday in the
Start and End time, and create a reminder 1 day ahead or
so.

There is a seperate dialog to add holidays. You just put a tick in the
box for the holidays you want to display.
I don't remember manually adding the birthdates originally but it was
so long ago, I could be wrong. It just seemed that once I had added a
birthday to a contact, it automatically appeared in the calendar.
Again, I could be wrong.

Thanks anyway.
