lost my disks

Sue McComb

Hello,
I've got MS Word 98 for the Mac installed on my computer. I wanted to update
to a newer version, but I've thrown away the box and apparently my disks
were inside the box. I've gone through all my disk storage and can't find
anything. All I have left is the product ID number. Is there any way I can
upgrade to MS2004 or whatever the latest version is?

Thank-you,
Sue McComb

If you have any sort of proof of purchase, you might try contacting
product support to get replacement Office98 disks:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246/en-us

If you don't, you may be able to find a cheap copy of Office98 or 01 at
a local mac shop, a college bookstore, eBay, etc.

The combination of the old version and the upgrade *can* be less than
the full copy cost.
