Lost navigation bars on homepage

Will Wurzel

I recently added a page to my web. Although the page is not part of the navigation graph, I inadvertently deleted the Navigation Bars from all pages when creating it. I brought the Navigation Bars back and, in my local HD web, everything looks and works fine. But after publishing the web to the server, the Navigation Bars on the homepage (on the server web) disappeared. Bars on the others pages appear fine.

Recreating the NB's on the local web and re-publishing doesn't help.

I'd appreciate some advice!

I doubt that EggHead is the site he's asking about.

Have you clicked refresh? Also delete your temporary files.
What has it got to do with the OP's question? He hasn't given any links
in his original message. Have you read his message?

The problems all seem to be in the border (only one border on the page tops). The Nav buttons don't appear in the homepage and page banners and nav bars (in the other pages) are in the wrong style. Viewing the web copy residing on my C drive shows everything to be fine.

Thanx!

A link bar on the home page will not appear if the properties are set to
"Same level" - your navigation bar is set to "Same Level" in the properties.
For the Home page, remove the top border and hand code it - copy the
existing code (in _borders/top.htm) then change the link bar properties to
"Children under Home", and include the Home Page. - based on the pages I
looked at, you could try changing the existing link bar properties to
"Children under Home" for the entire site (no change to the Home page
required for this), but I have not seen the entire site and there may be
pages on a third level where "Same Level" would be appropriate.

The pages and navigation bars all appear to be using the "cc" theme - I have
no idea what this should look like, if the appearance is wrong.
