In Outlook 2003, Win XP SP2, I'm losing Contacts historical records. For
many contacts, I have kept "Old History" Notes, activity Journal entries,
etc., but such entries are disappearing now. I found some, but not all,
cached by Google Desktop! We are a small manufacturer, but I have some 4000
contacts, with histories, accumulated over 15 years or so.
I am allowing AutoArchive to move emails to an archive folder and know to
look down there. However I'd rather keep these historical notes in the
actual current Contact card. For now, though, I cannot even find the info in
the Archive folders.
So,
1) How do we keep essential info from getting flushed?
Contact folder ? Now trying: Tools .. Options .. Preferences .. Contacts
line .. Journal Options .. AutoArchive Journal Entries .. AutoArchive tab ..
"Do Not archive items in this folder" OK
2) Where can we find these old notes and Journal entries?
Thanks!
