I am using Windows 2002 version of Excel on my office PC. I have
Office:mac version X running on a Mac Powerbook with G4 processor and
10.3. When I transferred a file to my mac, I lost the numeric
formatting of the cells. The decimals were gone. Although, when I
clicked cell formatting it came up with the correct format (i.e.
numeric with one decimal place). When I clicked OKAY, it wouldn't
apply it, and came back with a popup window saying "Enter a different
format. Your entry can't be used. Try entering an integer or decimal
number."
Has anyone else seen this problem and know of a fix?
Thanks
