Lost Office CD

M

I'm trying to set up another computer at work, and have installed all the
software except for Office, as the disk is missing from the box (I've only
just started working here, so it's not my fault!)

We have the product key on the box, so is there a chance that warm-spirited
Microsoft might replace the lost CD, or am I living in cloud-cuckoo land?

I'm not even sure whether the product is licensed to be installed on all the
machines it is already, but assuming it is licensed, would Microsoft be able
to help me?

1. Which version of Office?

2. Is it a retail version or OEM?

3. Don't you have some sort of asset sheet that tells you what software is
installed on which system? If not, you should.

1. It's Standard Edition 2003.

2. I'm pretty sure it's a retail edition.

3. No.

This will be the 7th machine it's being installed on.

Does the product key have an OEM in it. If not, you can try contacting
Microsoft about a replacement disk at a reduced price.
