Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel

I still have the box, but I misplaced my Office:mac 2004 for students and teachers & my Word program is corrupted. Can I download Wood 2004 and plug in my product keys off the box?

Hi Paul -

First of all, it's highly unlikely that your "Word program is corrupted" -
that's something that just doesn't happen on Mac OS except under extremely
rare circumstances. Re-installing is most likely not the solution because
it's the files that are created & modified while using the program that
corrupt and re-installing doesn't replace/repair them.

If you give specific detail about your exact version of Mac OS, exact build
of Office 2004 and what the symptoms are that make you think Word is
corrupt, perhaps we can help you put things right.

Also, for any number of other reasons it would be a good thing to find your
CD, so don't stop looking:) However, if worst comes to worst you can borrow
someone's Office 2004 disk & install/re-install from it as long as you use
the product keys that are licensed to you. There are NO Mac Office
applications that can be downloaded from any legitimate source, and
downloading from any illegitimate source is not only unlikely to include
everything required but also is piracy.
