Lost OneNote Product key and need to activate

I purchased OneNote online. I activated months ago and now it is asking me
to activate again. I cannot remember where I put the activation key I
purchased online. Where can I look up my activation key?

Whom did you purchase it from? Can you contact them and see if they have a
record of the transaction and can refresh your key?

Hi Ben. I purchased the key online so that my trial version would not expire.
So I really do not have any record of the purchase. I could probably find
the transaction on my bank statements, but other than that I really need
Microsoft to find it somehow...

Any more suggestions?

I don't think there's really any way that Microsoft could find it. I'm not
even sure who you'd call to ask. Product activation doesn't transmit your
username so I don't know how they'd look it up.

I guess you could try calling 1-800-MICROSOFT and see if they know who to
route you to, but I wouldn't have very high hopes.
