Lost Product Key

I have the Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 which I got with a book I
bought for a class and I thought the Product Key was on the slip cover the CD
is in but I was wrong. Is there any way I can get another one for it? That's
an awful lot of money just to not be able to use it.

there are freewares
that can be installed
and they will search
the system for the
keys.

then you can jot it/them
down for future ref.

I favor a freeware
called siw:

incidentally, everyone
has their own preferences.

but I write the keys
directly on the cd with
a special cd marker.

DB's idea is good if the product has been installed and activated with the
product key but if you don't have the key I would suggest looking through
the book again. If you don't have it in the book, contact the source where
you purchased the book and see if they can help you. They may be able to
tell you where the key is stored for that installation method.
