lost red handles

In one Visio file, I've lost the ability to connect forms using the red
handles. How can I get them back ? Thanks

I would first check Tools > Snap & Glue to make sure that you are able to
glue to connection points. It would also be good to check View > Connection
Points to ensure they are visible.
