Lost Standard Toolbar

I did something wrong and I've lost my standard toolbar in word. I'm
running office 2004 for Mac.
I scooted my standard toolbar up so it slid underneath the standard Mac bar
at the top of the screen. I tried to get it to re-appear by going to view,
toolbars and hiding or showing it but the toolbar doesn't re-appear.
However, when I go to full screen view, I am able to make the standard
toolbar appear. When I close the full screen view it disappears again.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try going to system preferences, displays, and setting the resolution to
something really weird, like 800x600. Then move everything to where you can
see it. Then change the resolution back, and float the toolbars around
until they drop into a sweet spot where they like to dock (this is tricky
and requires experimenting).

Alternative solution:
This page gives instructions for setting the Formatting Palette to a
particular location. Substitute
CommandBars("Standard")
For the Commandbars("Formatting Palette") in the instructions
