Lost Superscript when Publishing Pages

I type an equation in OneNote that has an exponent (superscript); the
superscript is un-done when I Publish Page... (.mht). Any suggestions?

That does indeed appear to be a bug (I tested briefly in both ON2003 SP2
and 2007 RTM and a superscript didn't survive in either case).

If you are running ON2007, I would export as PDF/XPS and distribute your
notes that way.
