lost tool bar

Hi ,

after opening a .doc from a customer, I lost all my menus and toolbars in
Word. (Office 2000).

How can I get it back ? I tried to uninstall and reinstall Word, but I still
have the problem. I even tried with a new normal.dot.

Anyone can help me ?

I already tried that , cant get the panel with the options .

nope , no task bar, no menu , no buttons, nothing but the rule !

I can open, edit, type and save (while exiting) documents. I can also use
the right button menu on the text window.
