Lost tool/taskbar

How do I unhide the tool/taskbar at the top of my word documents? I hid it and can't remember how to bring it back. It doesn't float. Word help is no help because it tells you to use the tool button which I don't have. I can't print anything. Please help me!!

Do you see the Title Bar across the top of the screen? ( the one that has Microsoft Word printed)
Do you see the Menu Bar across the Top of the screen? (the one that has File , Edit, View, etc.)

This very common problem is caused by a damaged Registry key. See

I have the title bar but no menu bar - that is what I hid and can't get back. If I right click anywhere on the rest of the page or edges I don't seem to get anything that will lead me to restoring it.

Suzanne you are a genius!! Thank you so much. I had to edit the registry, but it went fine and I now have my menu toolbar back. Your message did not come through the first time I clicked on it, but I tried it again and I am so glad it came through the second time. Again many thanks. I can now grow my hair back again!
