Lost toolbar in Microsoft Word for Mac

I was working on my imac using Microsoft Word. I had 3 toolbars open at
the top of my screen. Somehow I managed to move one of them up behind
my bar that has File, Edit, View, etc. on it. I tried resetting my
display to the smallest? setting, but I still couldn't retrieve it. I
need help.

Try turning off that toolbar from the menu. Turning it back on might put
it back where you can see it. I presume that you have already tried the
various F9-F11 keys that minimize all the windows?

Thanks for your help, but those ideas didn't work. I did try them,
though.

Hi Suzanne,

Are you in Word 2004? (Please always include your Office/Word and OS
version numbers when posting.)

Try resetting your toolbars: View> Toolbars> Customize Toolbars;
check/select the toolbar(s) in question and hit reset.

If that doesn't work, test your preferences and your Normal template.

Thanks for your ideas. A friend of mine suggested I go to "Bring All
to Front," which worked. I now have my bar back.
