I just recently upgraded from Windows 98SE on which I was using FP2000 with
FPE and had a local personal server running called http://myserver that
accessed the web folder C:\WEBSHARE. I'm now using XP Pro SP2 and FP2003.
My Web Folders favorite for http://myserver no longer works. Can't see it
using IE either. I can open FP2003 and then open the folder C:\WEBSHARE and
it opens as a web site I can edit. I tried to go into Site Properties and
rename it "myserver" but it says I can't rename the site because it has sub
websites.
I'd like to continue using the URL name "http://myserver" to publish to/from
my internet site, but I can't figure out how to associate this name to my
hard drive web folder. Any ideas?
