lost website

I created my website on my laptop. When that crashed I
tried to 'import'it back from the server into FP2003 on my
desktop. The files came back OK but I have lost all the
navigation, themes, formatting, links etc.
I do use a bought-in template.
Do I have to bite the bullet and re-create the site?
I have seen a couple of posts on this issue but they don't
quite seem to answer my problem. Help please!

You should be able to just copy the entire site (via FTP)

My last post got cut short...

You should be able to copy the entire website (via FTP)
from the hosting server to .\inetpub\www on your laptop.
Stop and restart your web services on your laptop and
everything should work fine.
