Lost Word Memus

I'm running Word 2000 with XP Pro on a P5 machine for the past year. Earlier
this week I opened Word and had no menus. No icons; no File, Edit, View,
etc. The shortcuts (cntl- s, cntl-p) and F keys work. I'm totally lost on
how to restore.

AV has been up to date and active.
