Lost work

I need to know if there is a backup of lost files for
microsoft works word processor version 6.0. I was typing
and a pop up screen came up, i'm not sure what it was but
it gave the option of "don't send" so I clicked on dont
send and the program shut down abruptly and I lost all my
work.

Try going to the folder where your documents are being
stored. I'm not familiar with file extensions for Works
but you might be able to make out a back up file that
matches your file name, or date of loss. Then try opening
it if you find one.
