Lots of White Space!!!

V

I am brand new to FP 2003 and have just completed my first page. It looks
great when I veiw it within FP, on my browser (IE6), and once I publish it to
the web. However, when others view it, there is lots of white space between
the cells I created. It's very difficult for me to correct the problem when I
don't see it.

A friend downloaded the page and was able to correct it by resizing the
cells using FP 2002. However, I am unable to do so...the cells are as tight
as I can get them. I've begun to compare the html between the two and the
differences are cell height. I am unable to change it.

Here are links to the two pages:
Original with space:
http://www.davisonfabrics.com/mailing/general/update_preview.html
Fixed page:
http://www.davisonfabrics.com/mailing/general/monthlyonlineupdate.html

Is this perhaps a problem with resolution? We are both using 1024 x 768,
IE6. When I change the text size in my browser from medium to small,
smaller, smallest, the white space shows up and grows with each change. But,
again, my friend is viewing with medium and sees the spaces. Does my monitor
need to be adjusted somehow?

Please help me fix this problem. Thanks!

Simply do *not* use cell height in your tables. It does not render properly
in many cases.

It is your cellpadding of 15 spreading the cells
IMHO
your page (very long) works fine in a 800 px wide browser if you remove all cell and table width & height attributes or set table to
100% and just set a cell padding on your outer table

|I had previously turned off the table and cell heights, but when I just
| opened my page, they were all on again. I will publish again to
| http://www.davisonfabrics.com/mailing/general/update_preview.html. Can
| someone look at it and tell me if the white space is still there? Both pages
| look identical to me.
