Lots of WMA files

I just went to do a backup of the OneNote files and noticed that there were
over 600 blank wma files in the folder. I deleted the files, but I see it is
rebuilding them rapidly. I also noticed once I deleted the wma files that
OneNote opend so much faster. What is creating all these WMA files?

The voice recording feature is doing it - do you have it turned on?

Well I have played with it in the past but I am not using it now. I don't
see any setting to disable it.

it shouldn't be on until you hit the toolbar button - unless possibly you
have a mic plugged in and turned on. there might be a keystroke you use the
turns it off and on.
