Lotus Notes Email List

I currently have code that works perfectly to add an email address from
Access to a new Lotus Notes email from a push button. But my problem now is
that I have a field that holds an entire distribution list (like 10 names)
that I would like to add to the "Send to" field in Lotus Notes but when
trying to add it to Lotus, it won't go past a certain number of characters.
It doesn't truncate the list. Once past a certain number of characters
(which I don't know the number), it puts nothing in the "To" field. I
experimented by adding one name at a time so it works for a while then
nothing. Does anyone know how to work around this problem?
