Lotus Notes mail & Calendar in Entourage

Like many people in large orgainisations I am forced to use Lotus Notes
at work. I have tons of useful emails in Notes and this is my main
calendar app.

I'd love to be able to sync Lotus Notes with Entourage and be able
regularly upload my email and calendar onto my mac at home so that I
have all of the latest information.

Has anyone been able to do this or know of a way how ?

Wow, that's a tough one! Entourage doesn't support synchronization with
Notes at all. There doesn't seem to be any way to sync content from the
Mac version of the Notes client, so you can't rely on it.

If your Notes server offers POP or IMAP access, you could use Entourage
to talk to the Notes server and get mail, but that wouldn't help you for
calendar items.

Have you considered migrating to Exchange :)

Cheers,

Exchange is a horrible messaging platofmr to manage. While most users
like the Outlook/Entourage clients, Exchange Server itself is full of
security holes, too proprietary in that it is married to Windows Server
and all its inherent problems, and requires additional components to
achieve even part of what the Domino Server can do out-of-the-box.

That being said, the Notes client is a horrible user experience. It has
gotten better, but it won'tbe until the "Hannover" release that it will
undergo a serious transformation.

As far as answering your question...KissWorks makes a product called
LipSync, which uses iSync to exchange contact and calendar information
between Domino/Notes and OS X. With the addition of support for Sync
Services, it should be able to do the same with Entourage.

KissWorks has been developing an update, but I have not heard much news
about it recently. I have contacted them recently; I am still waiting
for a response.
